This course is designed to acquaint students with site and foundation practices. Students will be exposed to construction equipment and will become familiar with job-site safety and working conditions. Students will gain proficiencies in building design, print reading, and surveying instruments and operation. The students will be introduced to work-related experiences on foundation and/or slab construction. Ultimately, students will be exposed to and practice construction management skills utilizing onsite supervisors.
