NURS 449 - Leadership and Management for the RN with Practicum

This course, with practicum, will assist the student to synthesize nursing knowledge related to leadership and management in healthcare. Course emphasis includes professional development and evidence- based applications for healthcare settings. Students are expected to complete 32 hours with a Registered Nurse preceptor participating in nursing leadership and management activities with direct care patient experiences. Eligibility: Admission to the RN to BSN program, has completed or currently enrolled in NURS446, and has Nursing clinical placement approval.
