This course, with practicum, will assist the student to synthesize nursing knowledge related to leadership and management in healthcare. Course emphasis includes professional development and evidence- based applications for healthcare settings. Students are expected to complete 32 hours with a Registered Nurse preceptor participating in nursing leadership and management activities with direct care patient experiences. Preceptor must be a BSN prepared nurse. Student clinical clearance is required. Site contract may be required. Co-Requisites:
Eligibility: Admission to the RN to BSN program, has completed or currently enrolled in NURS446, and has Nursing clinical placement approval.
