NURS 423 - Concepts of Gerontology
This course will focus on concepts related to specific health care needs of the growing older adult population. Essential geriatric competencies will be incorporated to promote comprehension of the aging process and the role of the nurse in promoting interdisciplinary evidence-based health care.
