APS 960 - Education Policy

Students will investigate the American educational policy landscape across various levels and sectors (early childhood, primary & secondary, higher education, adult education / workforce development). Public policy will be considered at local, state, and/or national levels, as well as independent advocacy groups. Local policy applications will then be considered as organizations attempt to implement related policy goals from higher levels. Consideration will also be given to the management of policy through regulation and demonstrated compliance.
