NURS 311 - Health & Illness I

This course introduces multidimensional nursing care of diverse patient populations experience acute or chronic illness. Pathophysiology and nursing therapeutics are combined to foster comprehension of professional, safe and quality patient nursing care. The aspects of multidisciplinary care, therapeutic communication, and patient safety are integrated in the course. The significance of evidence-based practice and theory are incorporated to promote positive patient outcomes.
